Our Core Privacy Guarantee

Green Journal is built with a local-first privacy model. We do NOT sell, rent, monetise, or distribute your personal trade logs, strategies, or P&L metrics to third-party data brokers, hedge funds, or marketers.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to deliver and maintain your trading journal service:

Account Credentials: Email address and authentication tokens via Google Firebase Authentication when you log in.
Trade Data & Logs: Symbol names, entry/exit prices, position sizing, setups, execution rules, and trade screenshots uploaded by you.
App Preferences: Selected UI theme, display currencies, date formats, and custom checklist configurations stored locally in your browser cache.

2. How Your Data Is Stored & Protected

Your trading journal records are stored securely in Google Cloud Firebase Firestore with strict user-level access rules. Only authenticated requests originating from your logged-in session can read or mutate your data records.

3. AI Processing & Statistical Insights

When you use AI Summary features, trade statistics (win rates, setup names, rule adherence scores) are processed in real-time to generate self-reflection summaries. We do not use your proprietary trade entries to train public generative AI models.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work exclusively with trusted, SOC2-compliant service infrastructure providers:

Google Firebase: User authentication and cloud database hosting.
Razorpay: Secure payment processing (we never store full credit card numbers or banking secrets).
TradingView: Technical chart rendering embeds.

5. Data Rights & Account Deletion

You retain complete ownership of your data. You may export your trade history to CSV format at any time from Settings or wipe your account data permanently via the Settings panel.

6. SEBI & Financial Regulatory Disclaimer

Green Journal is strictly a trade logging and statistical tracking tool. We are NOT a SEBI, SEC, or FINRA registered financial advisor, research analyst, or portfolio manager. All statistical analytics are produced strictly for user self-reflection.
